Scotland has many excellent towns, cities and villages to visit, and its proud heritage means that there are plenty of attractions to keep visitors entertained. There are also plenty of excellent bed and breakfasts in Scotland; and for a countryside b'n'b experience, there is no beating Sonachan.
A warm welcome awaits you at this extended farm house, just three miles from the most westerly point on the British mainland ? Ardnamurchan Point. Set on a working farm among hills and quiet countryside, Sonachan has been in the MacPhail family for forty years.
Here, we aim to provide you with comfort in an atmosphere of tranquillity, informality and cheerfulness.
|
Sonachan lies within 1000 acres of its own land, some 400 acres of which have been enclosed by fences to encourage the natural regeneration and protection of native flora and fauna without interference by farm stock.
Five entrances to this conservation area permit easy access for walkers, birdwatchers and other nature lovers. Sonachan is ideally situated between the beautiful sandy beaches of Ardnamurchan's north coast ? with their many safe bathing areas ? and Tobermory.
