Set in the beautiful Perthshire village of Aberfeldy, Fernbank House is a fabulous bed and breakfast, which is rated four stars by the Scottish Tourist Board. This charming and elegant detached Victorian stone demure was once a residence of the Earl of Breadalbane, and is now the delightful country home of Annette and Rory Macdonald.
This warm and welcoming home from home is a fantastic place to stay at any time of the year, with many famous locations within a close proximity, and plenty of sporting and leisure facilities to entertain everyone.
With four stunning guest bedrooms to choose from, each with its own en-suite facilities and wonderful Victorian features, you'll be spoilt for choice. Naturally the guest rooms, as the rest of the house, are decorated and maintained to an exceedingly high standard. Each room has complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, a TV, luxury toiletries, a hairdryer, and a selection of hot beverages to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Ironing facilities are also available on request.
Breakfast is always exceedingly tasty, made with the family owned and run Macdonald Brothers Butchers excellent fayre. Your breakfast at Fernbank will be made using the finest and freshest local products, which are organic wherever possible.
After a hearty repast take to the road and discover the stunning scenery, and marvellous activities to be experienced in Pitlochry, Perth and the local area. The salmon ladder and loch in Pitlochry are well worth a visit. Fishing rods and equipment can be hired from the lochs café and tackle shop. The Town of Pitlochry is beautiful all year round, and has a distillery and an exciting theatre festival in the summer. Golfing enthusiasts will be delighted to note that there is an eighteen-hole golf course in the village of Aberfeldy, adjacent to Fernbank House.
There is ample parking for guest's cars, and safe secure storage for golf clubs, bikes and kayaks.
