The stunning Scottish town of Pitlochry is just a few minutes stroll from Derrybeg Bed and Breakfast. Pitlochry, in The Vale of Athol is full of amazing panoramic views, and tranquil walks that will relax and refresh you. Pitlochry was once a favourite destination of Queen Victoria, and remains a very popular tourist destination to this day. The wealth of Victorian architecture is a feature of the town.
Marion and Derek Stephenson welcome you to their charming Pitlochry bed and breakfast, with the best that Scottish hospitality has to offer. Derrybeg is four-star rated, and all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, TV with DVD players, and complimentary refreshments.
Derrybeg is open from January to November, and is fully centrally heated throughout. Enjoy a relaxing evening in the guest's lounge, and a marvellous breakfast in the dining room overlooking the Tummel valley.
There are eight lovingly decorated and comfortable rooms in this grand traditional Scottish home. All are en-suite, and carefully maintained. Two of the rooms are situated on the ground floor for the convenience of elderly and disabled guests. It is a veritable home from home.
On summers evenings the beautifully landscaped gardens at Derrybeg afford a magnificent view of Pitlochry, and the Tummel valley behind.
There are a great many out door, and leisure activities to be enjoyed in the Pitlochry area including, the repertory theatre, two whisky distilleries, a salmon ladder, fishing, pony trekking, golf, shooting, skiing, and walking.
