Made famous by Queen Victoria Pitlochry is renowned for its beautiful Victorian architecture, and Theatre festival, which incidentally is only a short walk from Buttonboss Lodge.

Pitlochry is just a few miles from Perth, on the A9 to the capital of the Highlands, Inverness. It has a wealth of activities to offer all the family from; golf, clay pigeon shooting, walking, cycling, salmon fishing, horse riding, climbing and skiing near by. The theatre festival in Pitlochry is a unique repertoire festival acclaimed the world over, which attracts enormous amounts of enthusiasts every year.

Buttonboss Lodge, Pitlochry bed and breakfast, is situated in the centre of Pitlochry, in its own beautiful tranquil gardens, and just a hop and a skip from high street and the shops. You get a wonderful view of Ben-y-Vrackie from the gardens, and it's a great place to sit out and enjoy the scenery.

Marleen and Colin MacKay extend a warm Highland welcome to their lovely home, Buttonboss Lodge Pitlochry B&B, where they have lived very happily for more than ten years, and have extensive local knowledge of the area. Have a good chat with them about what to see and do, they know all the best places.

Marleen was a KLM stewardess and is a superb hostess, and Colin is a former PGA golfer, so be sure to ask him about the best local courses. Marleen & Colin speak Dutch, French & German, so you can practice you language skills too.

There are seven rooms, all with en-suite, to choose from at Buttonboss Lodge; single, twin, double and family, and one single room with its own private bathroom. On the ground floor there is a bedroom to accommodate wheelchair access for guests. All the beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms naturally have a selection of refreshments, a TV, and also have independent central heating controls for individual comfort.

After a busy day of adventure, what better place to put your feet up in front of the fire than in the guests lounge, which has just been redecorated to a very high standard.
