Wick is the traditional country town of Caithness, the most northerly part of the Scottish mainland. An administrative centre of the region, the town has many attractions for leisure visitors. Ideally situated, just 2 minutes walk from the town centre is Breadalbane House Hotel, a former Victorian private residence and now hotel and local pub.
The original stone walls and interior fixtures and fittings form an appealing environment and make an ideal base whilst enjoying all the area has to offer.
As well as the shops, bars and amenities within the town there are opportunities for fishing, golf, tennis and swimming all close by. Fly-fishing can be pre-arranged and guests at the hotel can enjoy discounted rates at Wick Golf Course. Caithness is a beautiful part of Scotland with many open areas to explore and a rugged and dramatic coastline.
10 guest rooms are available for comfortable and well appointed accommodation. All but 2 have full en suite facilities and every room is equipped with 20" LCD television, tea and coffee making facilities, and wireless internet connectivity. Additional features at the hotel include secure parking, a bar/lounge facility and laundry and dry cleaning service. Business guests may also make full use of the small meeting room.
Tariff for accommodation starts from £45 per night for a single room, from £65 per night for a double or twin room, and from £85 per night for a family room. As well as enjoying a drink at the bar guests can dine from a good selection of home cooked meals which are served on Saturday and Sundays. A full Scottish breakfast or alternatives is included in every stay and is sure to provide the necessary fuel for each day's activities in Wick and the surrounds.
